Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive nanny to support a lovely family based in Mount Eden. The position is due to commence during the week of 6 July 2026 and will continue through to the end of 2026, with the potential to extend into 2027 if the arrangement is successful for both parties. The family has two children: a daughter, who currently attends kindergarten and will start school after the upcoming school holidays, and a son who is currently 15 months old. The role is required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:45am to 6:15pm and will involve sole-charge care of both children, including school drop-offs and pick-ups for the eldest child. In addition to providing nurturing and attentive childcare, the nanny will be responsible for child-related household duties such as keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy, organising toys and school bags. Light household support is also required, including family laundry (washing, folding, and putting away) and meal preparation for the family. As the home is two story, applicants will need be comfortable navigating stairs while caring for a toddler. Mum will potentially work from home one day per week, while Dad works full-time from a dedicated home office.
