Before you can register with Karitane® so we can help you find your dream job, you need to make sure that you meet the following requirements and that you can provide us with the documents below.

At Karitane® we expect all our candidates to have:

  • A minimum of two years childcare experience and/or a childcare qualification
  • A current first aid certificate
  • A positive attitude, friendly demeanour, professional approach and presentation
  • An ability to use your initiative and to act professionally and communicate effectively (with both us at Karitane® and the families you work with).
  • A current CV (including a digital photo, copies of your certificates) and
  • At least 3 verbal childcare referees who you have worked for

If your interview is successful, we will contact your referees – so make sure that they know you have provided their contact details to us.  Following your glowing reference checks you will be placed on our books and we will put you forward for any suitable jobs with consideration of your preferences and requirements.
