Job Description:

We have a wonderful opportunity with a lovely private family based in Devonport who are seeking an experienced, educated, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their three young children, aged 5 months, 2.5 years, and 4 years. This is a long-term position, and the family is committed to finding the right nanny, so the start date is flexible and can be anytime from now through until October. The role offers 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend work as required, and a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. There will also be exciting opportunities to travel internationally with the family on one to two trips each year.

The successful nanny will provide attentive, high-quality care while supporting the children’s early learning, literacy, and numeracy development through engaging educational and play-based activities. They will encourage the children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, maintain a safe, organised, and nurturing environment, and assist with daily routines and age-appropriate developmental milestones. Applicants should have previous professional nanny or early childhood experience, with qualifications in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred. A current First Aid certificate, a full driver’s licence with a clean driving record, and the flexibility to travel internationally are essential.
