Job Description:

We have a lovely family based in Takapuna who are looking for an experienced and caring short-term nanny to join their family from Monday, 2 November 2026 through to Friday, 30 April 2027. The position is for three days per week, with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday preferred, although the family can be flexible with other weekdays, from 8:00am–4:00pm. The family has three children: a 5-year-old boy who attends primary school, a 3-year-old girl who attends the local kindergarten from 8:30am–2:30pm, and a 7-month-old baby boy who will be your primary focus throughout the day. While there may occasionally be school or kindergarten drop-offs and pick-ups, the role will predominantly involve caring for their happy baby boy. The family has a fortnightly cleaner, so there are no heavy household duties; however, they would appreciate someone who is happy to keep the children’s areas tidy, clean up after activities and meals, prepare meals for the baby and assist with general child-related tasks. Both Mum and Dad work away from home, so the ideal nanny will be confident working independently and providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for the children.
