Job Description:

We have a lovely permanent nanny opportunity with a family in Bayswater, Auckland, starting Monday, 5 October 2026. The family has two little girls, aged 3½ years and 13 months. The role is Monday and Tuesday, 7.00am–3.00pm or 3.30pm. The morning will include dropping the 3½-year-old at creche in Devonport, with the remainder of the day primarily focused on caring for the 13-month-old. She is currently having two daytime sleeps but is likely to transition to one daytime sleep around October. The family is happy for the nanny to get out and about in the community, enjoying activities such as library visits, Wriggle & Rhyme and other age-appropriate activities, as well as fun and engaging play at home. A cleaner comes fortnightly, so there is no heavy housework required. The nanny will assist with light household duties related to the children, including folding their washing, keeping the kitchen tidy, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and keeping things organised throughout the day. A full driver’s licence is required, and the family is happy to provide a car for the nanny to use while working.

Second Role – Optional: There is also an opportunity to take on a second nanny role on Wednesday, 7.30am–1.30pm and Thursday, 8.00am–2.00pm. The family is the sister of the first family and lives in nearby Hauraki. She has a 2½-year-old son and is looking for a nanny to provide care on these two days. This could be a great option for someone looking to combine both roles.
