Job Description:

We have a lovely family based in Stanley Point who are looking for a caring, experienced and attentive nanny to join their family on a permanent basis. The family have a two-year-old boy, born 11 December 2023, and a young baby, born 7 September 2026. The position is Monday to Friday, approximately 2:30pm–7:30pm, with some flexibility around the hours for the right person. The primary focus of the role will be caring for their two-year-old son, who is currently recovering from a brain injury. He is otherwise presenting well for his age, but can become overtired quite quickly, which may lead to meltdowns, so an important part of the role will be recognising his tired signs and helping him manage his afternoons calmly. He can also be a little unsteady on his feet at times, so the nanny will need to be attentive and ensure he remains safe while walking and playing. There will also be times when Mum would like to spend some one-on-one time with her two-year-old, and during these periods the nanny would be responsible for caring for their young baby.
