Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and professional Nanny/Governess for a family based in Abu Dhabi. This is a long-term, live-out position, with temporary live-in accommodation provided initially, and an immediate start for the right candidate. The role involves approximately 50 hours per week, with flexibility required for occasional evenings, weekends and international travel. An employment visa and health insurance will be provided.

The successful candidate will care for a four-year-old girl and a new baby due in late January 2027. Responsibilities will include planning engaging educational activities, supporting early learning and development, providing nurturing newborn care and establishing routines in consultation with the parents. The role will also involve preparing healthy meals and snacks, organising the children’s belongings, assisting with school activities and outings, travelling with the family and occasional dog walking.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ professional nanny or governess experience, with a strong background in education and preschool development. Newborn experience is highly preferred, and a valid driver’s licence is essential. Pediatric First Aid certification would be an advantage. A current police clearance and excellent, verifiable references will be required. The family is looking for someone who is professional, organised, discreet and flexible, with a willingness to travel internationally.
