Job Description:

We have a lovely family based in Orakei seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive nanny to join their household from 7 April 2026 (flexible for the right candidate). This is a sole-care role for one little girl who will be 11 months old at commencement, with the family requiring 12–16 hours of support per week, worked in 4-hour shifts. As both parents are shift workers, flexibility is essential; however, they receive their roster two months in advance, providing good notice of scheduled working days. The family is looking for someone confident caring for babies and toddlers, who enjoys getting out and about in the community and will take their daughter to activities such as Wiggle & Rhyme, library sessions, playgroups, and local parks. They value a nanny who is reliable, organised, communicative, and able to work collaboratively around a rostered schedule. There are also two older school-aged children in the home (no care required) and two cats. A full, clean driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are required, with mileage reimbursement to be discussed.
