Job Description:

A Night Nanny provides attentive, overnight care while creating a nurturing and restful atmosphere so parents can eat, shower, and rest. Responsibilities include maintaining a log of the infant’s schedule, feeds, and moods to support clear communication with parents, assisting with feeding (including supporting breastfeeding by either bottle-feeding expressed milk or bringing baby to mum, then winding and settling), and bathing the baby if requested. The role also involves sterilising, cleaning, and preparing bottles; laundering infant clothing and linens; keeping the nursery tidy; and ensuring the changing area remains clean, hygienic, and fully stocked with nappies, wipes, lotions, and nappy cream. The Night Nanny will also communicate with parents about any baby care items that need restocking. This is an awake position, with no sleeping during the shift.
