Job Description:

A family based in Avondale is seeking an experienced nanny to care for their six-year-old daughter who is on the autistic spectrum. She is able to communicate her needs, attends May Road Special Needs School. The role is Monday to Friday, with split shifts from 7:30am–9:30am and 2:30pm–5:30pm, totaling approximately 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include morning and afternoon school runs to and from May Road Special Needs School, providing attentive and supportive care, assisting with changes as needed, engaging positively and patiently with a child on the autism spectrum, and completing light household duties related to the child. A petrol allowance is provided for school runs. The family also has a cat, and Mum works from home on Thursdays and Fridays.
