Job Description:

We have a nanny opportunity with a family based in The Avenues, Tauranga, starting as soon as possible. This is a six-month fixed-term position, working two days per week from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, caring for a nearly four-year-old girl and her 18-month-old brother. The parents are involved in their business and require additional support with the children, including caring for the little boy at home until he turns two and potentially collecting Miss Four from kindergarten. The family will also be travelling extensively overseas for business throughout 2027 and would love to find a flexible, reliable nanny who may be available for additional support, including staying in the family home and proxy parenting while they are away. The family has their travel schedule available to share with suitable candidates, and there may be opportunities to extend the role or provide ongoing support. Duties will include providing nurturing care, supporting the children’s daily routines and development, organising activities, and preparing meals and snacks. Mum and Miss Four follow a gluten-free diet due to coeliac disease, so an understanding of gluten-free food preparation and avoiding cross-contamination would be an advantage.
