Job Description:

We are currently seeking a warm and reliable Afternoon Nanny on behalf of a lovely family based in Westmere. This is a permanent part-time role caring for one happy three-year-old, starting 23 March 2026. The position is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, and involves collecting the child from Westmere Kindergarten (approximately a two-minute walk from the family home) and providing attentive after-kindy care. Responsibilities include kindy pick-up, preparing and serving afternoon tea, engaging the child in fun and age-appropriate activities, preparing a simple meal, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. Both parents occasionally work from home, although this is not a regular occurrence. Availability to work full days during kindergarten holidays would be appreciated but is not essential. The family is looking for someone who has experience caring for young children, is reliable, kind, and engaging, and enjoys planning simple activities for preschool-aged children.
