Job Description:

A warm and welcoming family based in Papamoa is seeking a nurturing and reliable nanny to join their household from February 2026 for a one-year position. Mum will be completing her tertiary studies in Auckland while Dad remains in Papamoa, supported by nearby grandparents. The role involves providing consistent care for two delightful children, aged 5 and 6. The position runs Monday to Friday, with split shifts: mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (helping the children get ready for school and preschool) and afternoons from 4:30 p.m. to approximately 7:30/8:00 p.m. (providing after-school care until Dad returns home).

Daily responsibilities include supporting the children through their morning and evening routines, creating engaging, screen-free activities, assisting with dinner, bath, and bedtime prep, and helping with light household tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, folding washing, and keeping things running smoothly. The grandparents will take care of school drop-offs and pick-ups.
