Job Description:

We have a warm and welcoming family based in Hobsonville who are seeking a permanent part-time nanny to commence in February 2026. The role involves caring for three children: an 8-month-old, a 4-year-old who attends daycare three days per week, and a 6-year-old who attends Scott Point School. The family also has a friendly Labradoodle, so applicants should be comfortable around dogs.

The position is for two consecutive days per week, with flexibility to work either Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. Hours are approximately 7:00am to 5:00/5:30pm. On nanny days, primary care will be for the baby and the 4-year-old, with some care for the school-aged child as required. Responsibilities include all child-related duties, taking the children on local outings, park visits and community activities, and creating a calm, fun and settled home environment. Light household support is also expected, such as meal preparation for the children/family and family laundry, with a cleaner already in place.

Both parents may work from home at times but will be based in a separate office and are not hands-on during nanny hours. The family places a high value on independence, trust, and a nanny who is confident managing the day independently.
